Hardwood plywood import volume in the USA in April, 2019 decreased by 5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The most decrease showed Indonesia, Russia and Cambodia

In March 2019 pine timber export volume in Brazil increased by 29%, pine plywood volume increased by 6%, tropical plywood volume decreased by 42% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

 

Within January-March, 2019 plywood export volume in Russia increased by 1.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

In 2018 hardwood plywood import volume in Germany increased by 5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Tropical plywood volume decreased by 1%

 

Within January, 2019 plywood export volume in Russia increased by 8.6%, sawn timber – by 13.9%, paper – by 47%.

Plywood import in Japan in February, 2019 increased only by 3% despite of preparation for Summer Olympic games 2020. The main plywood exporters were Indonesia (40%), Malaysia (40%), Vietnam (6%) and China (6%)

Tropical plywood import in the USA in January, 2019 decreased by 18% in comparison with the same period of the previous year mostly because of 35% import volume reduction from Italy

In 2018 year EU-countries imported 327.2 thousand m2 tropical plywood, by 2% more than in 2017. Vietnam increased tropical plywood import volume to EU by 133%, China – by 15%, Paraguay – by 22%, Indonesia – by 6%
