Within January-September, 2019 plywood production volume in Russia increased by 5.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Hardboard production increased by 6.8%, chipboard – by 5%

Within January-August, 2019 Belarus exported to Ukraine up to 20.6% more woodworking products in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The significant share in the product structure took hardboards, plywood, paper and cartoon

Within January-August 2019 plywood export volume in Russia increased by 1.9% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

In August 2019 in Japan plywood import volume from China decreased by 2.4%, from Indonesia – by 2.3%, from Malaysia – by 28.1% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

In July 2019 hardwood plywood import volume in the USA increased by 42% in comparison with the previous month. Plywood import from China increased by 7%, from Vietnam – decreased by 10%

Within January-August, 2019 plywood production in Ukraine decreased by 6.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Chipboard production volume decreased by 9.7%, veneer – by 8.9%, parquet – by 17.6%

Russian plywood export volume within January-July, 2019 increased by 4.8% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

Within January-May, 2019 European Union countries imported up to 2.9% more hardwood plywood in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The most increase showed Russia (+10.8%), Ukraine (17.2%). China decreased plywood import to 7.9%, Belarus – to 8.5%

Within January-July, 2019 plywood production in Ukraine decreased by 7.2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Veneer production decreased by 11%, chipboard – by 9.1%

 

In June 2019 plywood import to Japan decreased by 23% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.  China decreased volumes by 25%, Malaysia – by 23%, Indonesia – by 21%
