In January-February 2020 concern “Bellesbumprom” (Belarus) produced by 12.4% more woodworking products in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Good pace belonged to paper, wood panels, plywood and furniture manufacturers

In December 2019 plywood import in Japan decreased by 8% in comparison with November 2019. Within 2019 import volume from Malaysia decreased by 18%, from Indonesia – by 13%, China- by 13%

British importers await negative influence of Brexit on plywood market. Uncertainty affects the demand, construction projects and households save spending. Currently the date is set to 31.12.2020 but may be extended by 1-2 years

Within 2019 year pine plywood export volume in Brazil decreased by 9% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The main export markets were the USA, Mexico, Germany and Great Britain

Within 2019 Russian plywood export volume increase by 2.8% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

Within 2019 year tropical plywood export volume in Brazil increased by 45% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. 80% of the imported tropical plywood was shared between Ireland, the USA, Mexico, Canada and Great Britain

Within January-September, 2019 plywood production volume in Finland decreased by 2.2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

Within January-November, 2019 Russian plywood export volume increased by 3.3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year
