Within January-February, 2019 Russian plywood production increased by 8.9% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Hardboard production increased by 16%, chipboard – by 17.6%

Within 2018 year EU countries imported by 5.1% more wooden products in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Softwood and hardwood sawn timber import volume increased by 10%. Imported plywood volumes increased by 8%, mainly from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Brazil, China

In 2018 EU countries increased tropical plywood import by 1.7%, sawn timber – by 9%. Other products volumes as veneer, furniture, bold timber stayed at the same level

Within December, 2018 Japan decreased softwood plywood production by 3% in comparison with November volume

Within 2018 year concern “Bellesbumprom” (Belarus) exported by 31.6% more wooden products in comparison with 2017 year. Leading export ratio in export structure belong to furniture (22.3%), hardboard (17.1%), paper and carton (17.1%), plywood (14.4%), chipboard (11.2%).

Within 2018 plywood export volume from Russia increased by 8.7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

In November 2018 pine timber export in Brazil increased by 25% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Tropical timber export increased by 20%. Pine plywood volume increased by 5%, tropical plywood volume decreased by 26%

Within October-December, 2018 OSB production volume in North America increased by 0.7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood production decreased by 6%

The production volume of softwood plywood in Japan in October 2018 decreased by 1.6%. Meanwhile, export volume increased by 2.4%

In October 2018 hardwood plywood import in the USA decreased by 79% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Within January-October 2018 plywood import volume from Russia and China decreased by 77%
