The USA impose new standards of formaldehyde content in wooden panels

The USA impose from December, 12, 2017 new standards of formaldehyde content in wooden panels. Standards will be mandatory for producers, importers, distributors and wholesalers. It is assumed that  formaldehyde level in plywood will be 0.05 ppm, in chipboard – 0.09 ppm, in MDF – 0.11 ppm. WHO classifies formaldehyde as a dangerous carcinogen the higher content of which can cause throat cancer
