Within January-April, 2015 timber production in Ukraine increased to 0.1% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood production decreased to 0.2%. Wood panel production showed increase to 8.5%, parquet production + 42.6%

Within January-April, 2015 panel wood production in Russia increased up to 4.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood production increased to 4.1%

In 2014 European Union countries increased Russian plywood import up to 12%. Main reasons were increased plywood demand in Europe in particular in Great Britain and slump in Russian ruble rate. Hardwood plywood import to EU increased to 11%, softwood plywood from China – to 14%.

In 2014 year China increased wood export up to 16%. Within the last year China mainly imported bold timber, paper, paper products, cardboard, wood chips and mainly exported furniture, paper, paper products, cardboard and plywood

Within January-March, 2015 sawn timber production in Ukraine increased to 0.6% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood production decreased to 0.8%. Wood panel production increased to 9.9%, veneer – 9.2%, parquet – 53.6%

Within January-March, 2015 sawn timber production in Belarus decreased to 19.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Wood furniture production increased to 0.5%

In March 2015 wood products export from Norway increased up to 28.3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Sawn wood products export decreased to 6.2%. Plywood export increased to 8.8%

Within January-February 2015 sawn timber production in Ukraine decreased to 1.6% in comparison with the same period of the previous year: plywood production decreased to 1.3%, wood panel production showed 9% increase, veneer production increased up to 10.8%

Within 2014 softwood plywood production in Japan decreased to 0.4% in comparison with 2013 year. Plywood export decreased to 5.6% within the same period making up 2,523 million cubic meters

Within January 2015 sawn timber production in Russia increased up to 3, 8%. Plywood production increased to 5, 9%. Wooden bed production decreased to 1, 1% in comparison with the same period of the previous year
